At Clean Energy Source Ireland Ltd., we take pride in delivering innovative, energy-efficient solutions, and our Eco Unit thermodynamic solar panel system is one of our most popular offerings.
Designed to provide 100% of your household’s hot water needs, the Eco Unit replaces your existing hot water cylinder with a high-performance, thermodynamic system that works day and night, in all weather conditions—even without direct sunlight.
Why Choose the Eco Unit?
How It Works
The Eco Unit consists of a high-quality stainless steel cylinder (available in 250L, 300L, and 500L sizes) and a thermodynamic solar panel, typically installed on the roof. The most popular model—a 300L unit with a single panel—can supply enough hot water for a family of six, assuming standard water usage.
Even in larger households or homes with high water demands (e.g., frequent use of large bathtubs or power showers), we offer custom solutions to match your needs. Our approach ensures that every system is correctly sized—allowing at least 50L per person per day.
Minimal Running Costs & Quick Return on Investment
While the Eco Unit does consume a small amount of electricity, it remains the most economical way to heat water compared to other solar technologies. Customers typically see a return on investment within 5 to 10 years, making it a smart long-term investment.
Space Requirements & Installation
To install the Eco Unit, you’ll need a minimum of 900mm x 650mm space in your existing hot-press once the old cylinder is removed. If space is limited, we also offer alternative solutions such as the Eco Top Unit or Solar Box Unit.
Experience the Future of Hot Water with the Eco Unit
With a proven track record in efficiency and reliability, the Eco Unit is an ideal green energy solution for households looking to save money, reduce their carbon footprint, and enjoy continuous hot water—without relying on sunshine.
